Good Morning Family,

I hope you greatly enjoyed the Word brought to us by Rev. Jonas Crump last Sunday.  I know I did!  We also had a good crowd last week with guests of a few of our families and also a family that worships with us whenever they are down here staying at the campground came to see us again.  Also, we had a few guests from the community.  The Lord is seeing fit to lead some new folks to come and worship with us lately.  Without exception, I always hear from them that they really feel welcome.  You all do such a great job of greeting and making anyone who walks in our doors feel like a friend.

Later this month is our Celebration Potluck immediately after the morning service on Sunday, September 24th.  We will gather that day to give glory to the Lord for supplying in miraculous ways to finally get the loan on the sanctuary and the upper lot purchase PAID IN FULL.   The Lord has seen us through every step of the way and has blessed us with several large gifts in the last few months which brough the balance down to $0 way ahead of time!  We offer our heartfelt thanks for His blessings in our lives and in our church family.  So, mark your calendar for September 24 for Celebration Sunday.

We are also pleased to be able to offer Kindergarten through 4th grade on our Wednesday Cape Crusader program.  Previously, for the last couple of years, we have not had a leader for that age group, so that had limited our ability to reach out to those students.  We have interim teachers in that classroom for the time being until we can identify who it is the Lord wants to take the Cape Crusaders “in training” class on a permanent basis. Last night on the first night, we had four students in attendance.  That clearly demonstrates the need for that age group ministry on Wednesdays.

As always, my prayer is that we would all Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.”    II Timothy 2:15.

Bro. Steven
