Good Morning Family!

What a great Mother’s Day service we had last week!  It was so good to see so many moms and their families come together to worship.  I am so appreciative of the gifts that are supplied to give away each year.  Thank you, David and Tracy Hudson for providing such beautiful flowers for the service.

This coming Tuesday 1:3ABF (Adult Bible Fellowship) on May 20 at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall is going to be a good one.  We are going to enjoy an impactful short film about archaeological finds in the Saudi Arabian desert that match up quite well as the actual place where God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses and where Israel encamped around the mountain.  All of the aspects that we read of in scripture geographically seem to be there as they are supposed to be.  This information is eye-popping!

I am so excited as we are moving ahead with some serious work to begin soon on the church kitchen remodel.  We are securing supplies and going to be ready to begin “de-construction” very, very soon.  This improvement will be such a blessing as our church kitchen is one of the most used areas in our facility.  It will bless those on our kitchen crews in their work for the Lord as they feed so many throughout the year.  We’ve been praying about this for a few years and now the time is here!

Today, we will be sharing in a message of a reminder of sorts in regard to our motto:  Our Message: JESUS… Our Motive: THE CROSS.  In all of the things we are trying to accomplish, we can never lose sight of the “Who” and “why” we do what we do… the old, old story of Jesus and His love.

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.”   II Timothy 2:15

Bro. Steven
