Good Morning Family!
As you can see in the bulletin, there are more than a few things you need to be up-to-date on in the area of announcements. I would encourage you to take the bulletin home and transfer these dates from that paper there to your calendar on the wall or at your desk at home. And don’t forget to also put them in your phone calendars. I still use paper calendars and I sometimes get things put on my phone calendar. I am going to try to be better at that this coming year, that way I always will have my calendar with me on paper or digitally.
Now, you can read about these in the announcement section, but we wanted to get you as much as we know right now about the major Fall events coming in 2026. I have seen the amount of planning already going into these things and I am confident the Lord has His hand on them as we continue the work.
Robin’s surgery is planned for Tuesday, June 16th and so we will be moving the Tuesday 1:3ABF gathering that night to the next week and will meet on the 23rd instead. So, please make sure that you note that.
Also, for the 250th Celebration of Independence Day, we will do something we have never done before. We will gather on the morning of the Fourth of July on the church front lawn at 10:00am for a public outdoor reading of the Declaration of Independence. We will get this on the church sign, so our community will know about this. My hope is that individuals and families from the community will come and hear the document proclaimed in its entirety maybe for the first time. So, please set aside time that morning to come and be part of something on that momentous day that will hopefully stir your patriotism and devotion to duty for the God who called us to freedom.
Then on the night of Sunday July 5th beginning at 7pm we will gather for our FBCCF Independence Day Celebration. Bring a lawn chair, enjoy some food, and then our team will light up the sky as always.
As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15
Humbly Yours,
Bro. Steven
