Good Morning Family!

Well, so far summer has hit like it has a score to settle.  Hi temps and a hot sun seem to be the order of the day… every day.  I know this kind of weather can be a challenge for many folks’ health.  I pray that we get a break or two along the way over July and August.  All I know is that as soon as Summer officially began on June 21st, I began the countdown to Fall. 😊

Each week, we have had a reminder in this letter to pray for Connie and Gordon as they were away ministering in Austria.  As of the writing of this letter, I have not heard for sure, but they should be arriving home this week sometime.  We will be grateful to get them back and also pray for them to be able to rest up and reacclimate to this side of the planet.

This morning, Robin, Holly, and I are away in the Kansas City area for a memorial service, a baby shower, and then an appointment for Holly at her Neurosurgeon.  She will be having her implant device that keeps her pain at bay readjusted.  She had has a very rough June but has hung in there like she always does.  With the starting of a new job and the changing of health insurance with the usual lapse, this has been a tricky time for her to navigate.  I would ask that you pray her device would respond well to the recalibrating that they do on Monday, and she would begin to see some more relief.

With us being away, I know you will enjoy Bro. Dale’s message this morning and participate as usual with Barney, Tracy, and Elaine leading you in worship.  Also, thanks to our folks who work behind the scenes each week to make sure all of the technical issues go well.  FBCCF has a great Sunday worship service team.

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.”   II Timothy 2:15

Humbly Yours,

Bro. Steven
