Good Morning Family!
Well, I think I say this at the beginning of each month, but it is always true. I can’t believe it is “fill in the blank”. So, here goes… I can’t believe it’s JUNE!!!
With summer comes vacations and kids at home and many other changes in our schedules. The actual change of the season isn’t for a few weeks yet, but we have already had more than our share of storms and rain. I suppose the Lord thinks we are going to need the moisture later on, so we are stocking up now.
As summer progresses, we press on with ministry to our adults and kids here in the church family through our Sunday, Tuesday, and other events and also in our outreach to the community families through Wednesday Night and other periodic opportunities through the summer and upcoming in the fall. I am looking forward to all of what is planned for FBCCF this summer already. Some of it isn’t even on the calendar yet, so keep an eye out.
As promised, this coming Tuesday 1:3ABF on June 3rd, we will start our look at the topic of Heaven and more of what that entails. I am looking forward to spending this time each first and third Tuesday gaining encouragement from the Scriptures about our permanent dwelling place that is to come. It is so much more than we can even imagine and there is a great amount of information in the Bible that tells us what to expect on the other side. And I think a lot of what we will study together may be surprising as we look past common misconceptions and delve into what the Spirit has actually revealed to us though the words of Scripture. Join us at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall for dinner, prayer and time in the Word.
As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15
