Good Morning Family!

The long road to the Lord bringing to pass the acquisition of the land surrounding our present facility has finally concluded.  Praise the Lord for His impeccable timing and the way in which He brought it all about! After years of prayer and several “almosts”, the land is fully now a part of God’s property here at 41 Gospel Street.  It is now up to us to proceed with the long overdue clean up not only for the church, but for our surrounding community which has had to deal with the very visible mess right in the middle of our little village here.  There are a few things in the works in regard to how this can be accomplished in a very timely manner that I will announce and put before you as soon as I know things for certain.

In the meantime, we have established a new Designated Fund for this effort moving forward that we are entitling, Land Development.  It will be numbered #60 in our designated line items.  So, if the Lord should so lead you to begin to give toward this clean up and developing endeavor, mark your offering envelope #60 Land Development. We are not sure of all of the details at this point, but will have some costs coming in very soon that I will share with everyone.  Please pray for that process that the Lord would help us mightily in that area.

Put these activities on your Holiday calendar… For the 250th Celebration of Independence Day, we will do something we have never done before.  We will gather on the morning of the Fourth of July on the church front lawn at 10:00am for a public outdoor reading of the Declaration of Independence.  We will get this on the church sign, so our community will know about this.  My hope is that individuals and families from the community will come and hear the document proclaimed in its entirety maybe for the first time.  So, please set aside time that morning to come and be part of something on that momentous day that will hopefully stir your patriotism and devotion to duty for the God who called us to freedom.

Then on the night of Sunday July 5th beginning at 7pm we will gather for our FBCCF Independence Day Celebration.  Bring a lawn chair, enjoy some food, and then our team will light up the sky as always.

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.”                              II Timothy 2:15

Humbly Yours,

Bro. Steven
