Good Morning Family,
What a great Independence Day Celebration Sunday we had last week! Much thanks to the choir for preparing two selections to commemorate the day and sing of our gratitude to the Lord for His hand upon the founding of this nation, and thanks to Elaine and Robin for the wonderful instrumental special during our offering time on that special morning.
Our evening get-together, Sunday Night @ The Cape was celebrated with homemade ice cream, many yummy baked goods, and some great fellowship. There were over sixty in attendance and what a wonderful evening it was! A huge “THANK YOU” goes out to everyone who contributed to the festivities from food to fireworks. The evening was a smash and what a finale to our fireworks show! Thanks to the “pyro- crew” for getting the show up and running and then ending it with a bang… or rather many bangs!
Remain in prayer for the Resolved Conference here in a few weeks on July 20-22. As we have been announcing, we have extended an invitation for the entire church to be together for the meals and worship times. Please make plans to come and hear what the Lord is laying on the heart of our guest speaker, Rev. Daniel Dorr to share not only with the students, but with each of us as well. Pray for Daniel and Mindy as they prepare to come our way very soon. They are praying for you. The times for the meals and worship times are printed in the bulletin in the weekly schedule box on the announcement page.
As always, my prayer is that we would all “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15.
