Good Morning Family!

Thank you for allowing us to be away last weekend for some family gatherings and then Holly’s neurosurgeon appointment on Monday.  It was a fruitful time and now we have some good insight and direction as we walk this road with her.  Thank you all so much for consistently remembering us in your prayers.

This morning we will gear our service toward a commemoration of Independence Day as the 4th of July is tomorrow.  Then, this evening at 6:30pm, we will gather outside here at the church for a time of food, fun, and fellowship as we come together for “A First Family Fourth”.

We will provide hotdogs and buns, water bottles, and paper goods.  We are asking that others bring side dishes or ice cream to share.  If you are bringing something that needs to stay cold, please bring your own cooler.  Also, lawn chairs will be a must, so we don’t have to have a crew together to bring out folding chairs from the building.  If you have an extra chair, bring it for someone.  If you are unable to bring any food item, just bring yourself and there is always plenty!

If you want to bring fireworks for later, then that is fine, a good time was had last year as we enjoyed some pretty intense moments of “showers of sparks, with reports”!  Maybe this year we should park our cars on the east side of the building! Ha.  We do ask for adults to supervise students.  (Or for some of our adults, it might be better to have a student supervise them.)

It looks to be a great night with our church family and friends, so be sure to come and be a part of it all.  If you have company, please bring them.  There will be plenty of food and fun.

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.”   II Timothy 2:15

Humbly Yours,

Bro. Steven
