Good Morning Family!
What a big weekend we had last Saturday and Sunday. We had about 50 or so at the Outdoor Declaration of Independence Reading. It was a good morning to celebrate our 250th! Then Sunday morning, we celebrated the goodness of God in His blessing of our nation and calling us also citizens of His Kingdom. The biggest blessing of the day was the baptism of Ann Duncan out at the lake! Way to go, Ann!
Sunday evening, we capped off the weekend with our most awesome fireworks display yet and possibly our biggest crowd of a little over 60 in attendance. Once again, our PYRO Team outdid themselves! Thanks to all who not only provided the fireworks, but coordinated the launches. Also, a big round of applause for all who set up, tore down, and fixed food for the event. You all are amazing!
Today, after our morning service we will gather in the Fellowship Hall for our Quarterly Business Meeting and Potluck. Please plan on staying and getting caught up on all of the latest ministry news and happenings. Several very important bits of information are forthcoming, and I want us all to be on the same page. Even if you were not able to bring a side or dessert, there will be plenty! There always is.
As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15
Humbly Yours,
