Good Morning Family!

What a great time we had last Sunday!  Our morning activities with Sunday School and a special time of worship with an emphasis on our independence as a nation 246 years ago was time well spent.  Then, we celebrated the 4th of July on the 3rd with “A First Family Fourth”.

It was a very warm, even hot evening.  But, everyone had great enjoyment simply sitting around and sharing good food and good conversation.  Thanks to everyone who had a hand in putting this together.  Everything from the food to the fireworks was outstanding.  I am pretty sure we had the best fireworks display in town that night.  If you can, go to our Facebook page for plenty of pictures and a few “shoutouts” to those who had a hand in everything that went on.

Coming up on July 24th will be our third quarterly Business and Ministry Meeting for 2022.  We will, as usual, plan to meet immediately after our morning worship service.  We will gather in the Fellowship Hall for a pot-luck and then a time of catching up on all that is happening in the ministries at FBCCF.  If you cannot bring anything for the potluck that day, please plan on staying anyhow as there will always be plenty for everyone.  The church will provide beverages, paper goods, and plasticware.

Thanks to everyone for your continued support to the ministries here, even in some very hard economic times.  Your faithfulness is not lost on me and your steadfastness in giving along with the faithfulness of the Lord will see us through always.  The Lord is at work in our midst and will continue to bless us with enough to do what we need to do as long as we remain faithful to Him and His plan for our church family and our community..

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.”   II Timothy 2:15

Humbly Yours,

Bro. Steven
