Good Morning Family,

A good Sunday morning to everyone! I am so glad you’re here this morning to worship together on this first Sunday of the new year. Asyou can tell by now, I am not here. I am home this morning recovering from rotator cuff surgery. I am so thankful for everyone that keeps these services going when I am away.

I am sure you are going to enjoy the message from the Word that Barney Munhollon is going to bring to you today in my place. Thankful for Tracy Hudson as well for covering our Church Family Prayer Time this morning. There will be no PM services tonight.

As far as a physical update from me, there was more going on in my shoulder than was previously thought. Besides the rotator cuff tear that was repaired, the doctor found that my bicep was partially shredded as well. Due to my recovery period needed, I talked to our leadership, and we determined to put Sunday evening activities on hold until I am able to do two services on Sundays once again. I am hoping this will put us back into evening services on Sunday by sometime in February. Thank you in advance for your patience with me while I do what the doctor requires for a good recovery. Hoping to see you all next Sunday, Lord willing.

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15

Your Shepherd of the Hills,

Bro. Steven
