Good Morning Family!
It actually feels like we are getting the year started as we are now halfway through February. I hope everyone had a fantastic Valentine’s Day yesterday, if you were able to spend a little time together.
We have quite a few prayer needs in our church family at the moment and I know many of you are praying for these loved friends and comrades in the faith. I know they are very grateful for the love and support reaching out to them in these times.
This week will be a Tuesday 1:3Adult Bible Fellowship time. I would ask for prayer as I determine when to bring the current study series to a close and begin a new one. I believe we are close and am looking forward to where the Lord may lead next. But, for right now, we are in the Millennial Reign of Jesus.
Pray for our students in our Wednesday Night Ministry as we have begun a new teaching series here. Pray for their hearts to be open to hearing how much God loves them and how great of a plan He has for their lives. It is never too early or too late to plant the Word of God into the heart of a young person. I am grateful for the loving hands and hearts of our adults that give of their time, resources, and talents and talents as we minister to students in our community.
Also, pray for the students’ parents and the other adults in the homes that they would see the promise and hope of Jesus as they hear of what their children are being taught and see the love this church gives to their kids. I’ll keep saying it, this church functions not only as a disciple building endeavor, but a lighthouse to our community right here in Cape Fair. I believe that together we are accomplishing both! Hang in there, everyone!
As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15
