Good Morning Family,

Well, it’s the day after Christmas. By the time you may be reading this, you are either arriving for breakfast in our fellowship Hall at 8:30, or coming in to Sunday School at 9:30 or have elected to just come to worship and Bible teaching at 10:30. For those of you who have been here since breakfast, I expect you to stay awake in the sermon today 😊

I want to first off say thank you to the group who went out caroling last Sunday night. What a blessing you were to those to whom you share the joy of Christmas. We began at the Wedgewood Gardens Nursing facility at 5:30pm. We were able to actually go inside and sing to the folks while they had dinner. It was so good to see them interact and some even sing along.

The caroling group then had the pleasure of going to share Christmas songs at several homes of those in in church family who have been having to stay at home lately. We traveled a few miles that night as we went from Branson West out to west of Cape Fair out onto Highway EE and points in between. Your participation in this effort meant so much to those whom we visited.

Today as wrap up the four Sundays of Advent, we conclude with celebrating the JOY that is ours in Christ.

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15

Humbly Yours,

Bro. Steven
