Good Morning Family!
The kitchen is coming along quite well as we have so many great folks working on bringing the finished product to a conclusion. If you have not been down there recently, then please take a stroll through that area. Cabinets are going up; new water lines are being run, and new electric lines are being installed for the new cabinetry and appliances. The planning, craftsmanship, the awesome painting, drywall work, and elbow grease going into this project are all so amazing. Its going to be a kitchen that will serve so many for the cause of Christ in this church family and our community for many, many years to come.
Also, thank you to those who are attending our Shoebox Workdays. You dedication to this ministry is very appreciated and the love going into each item in the boxes will reflect the love of Christ.
We also have groups of men helping do some work on a few of our ladies’ homes over these past months; as well as some of our ladies joining in those endeavors as well. The “can-do” spirit of our church family is simply incredible and is a very tangible expression of the hands of Christ making a big day-to-day difference in the lives of our people.
All of these examples and so much more reflect well on the spirit and grit of this local family of God as we endeavor to work together and put others first. This after all, is the heart of Christ that we should all have.
As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15
