Good Morning Family!

I simply cannot believe this is our 9th Resurrection Sunday with our FIRST FAMILY! As we gather this weekend, we celebrate Christ’s sacrifice on the cross and the fact that He rose again from the dead to secure salvation for all who would believe.

One of the many blessings of knowing Jesus as Savior is being adopted as sons and daughters of the Heavenly Father. That joy then gives us the privilege to be a part of a forever family. The brothers and sister here at FBCCF are simply amazing as we serve the Lord together.

I want to thank everyone who has been involved in the behind the scenes work to make our Good Friday service and Easter Morning celebration not only glorifying to the Lord, but a blessing in which to be a part. From rehearsals to breakfast preparations, to teaching and leading in worship; it has all been a joy to work together for our Lord. He died for us and so we then are called to live for Him!

I pray each of us gathered this morning will really seek to set aside anything that may be standing in the way of our journey with Christ. As we worship in song, let us remember all He did for us in taking our sin upon Himself as he went to the cross for you and for me. Then, as we respond to the Word as it is taught in Sunday School and the worship service, let us seek to draw closer to the Lover of our Souls who paid the price for our salvation with His precious blood.

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15

Bro. Steven
