Good Morning Family!

This morning is our Third Sunday of Easter Advent.  Today, we will touch on the Triumphal Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem for the final week of His ministry before the crucifixion on Good Friday.  I will be sharing a message entitled, “The Rebuke of the King” as we take a look at this important event in the life of Jesus.

Then, we will meet back here later in the week for the commemoration of Good Friday.  This reflective service of music, scripture, and communion will take place at 6:30pm on the 18th.  It usually lasts until around 7:15 and will end with us gathering together to take the Lord’s Supper as we remember His sacrifice on the cross for us.

As I said before, I am leaving this layout in my letter each week, so you can see where we have been and where we are going.…

Sunday, March 30th   10:30am service ……………  “The Betrayal of a Friend”

Sunday, April 6th   10:30am service ………….  “The Anointing of the Dead”

Palm Sunday April 13th    10:30am service …… “The Rebuke of the Teacher”

Good Friday April 18th   6:30pm evening service …… “The Death of the Son”

Easter Sunday April 20th   10:30am service ……… “The Victory of the King”

Today, right after the service, we will share in our Palm Sunday Business Meeting and Potluck with an Easter meal theme.  The church is supplying the ham, potatoes, rolls, and drinks.  We had asked, for those who could, to bring a side dish or dessert.  For those who were not able to, just please stay anyway as there is always plenty and we have some important ministry news today in the meeting which is so exciting!

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.”   II Timothy 2:15

Bro. Steven
